Indian Statistical Institute invites applications from ‘fresh’ master degree holders in Statistics/ Data Science/ Economics/ Econometrics with experience in ComputerProgramming/ Statistical Packages for an on-the-job training programme in Applied Statisticsand Econometrics, conducted by the Sampling and Official Statistics Unit and the AppliedStatistics Unit of the Institute.
Who can apply:
Those who have completed their master degree in Statistics/
Economics in 2020, or awaiting the results, may apply. The programme will continue till 31March 2021 and may be extended considering the performance of the selected candidates and availability of funds.
Selected candidates will be given a stipend of R25000/- (Rupees twenty
five thousand only) per month (Consolidated).

Application in English, addressed to the Head, Sampling and Official Statistics Unit giving (a)Name (In block letters), (b) Mailing Address, (c) E-mail ID (d) Telephone/ Mobile No., () Parent’s/ Spouse’s Name, ) Date of birth, (g) Academic Qualifications (with percentage of marks obtained in each examination), (h) Aadhar Card No., (i) Details of Experience in Computer Programming/ Statistical Packages should be sent preferably by email at the address sosu@isical.ac.in so as to reach on or before 20 November 2020.
Candidates who will be selected to appear for an online test-cum-interview on 27 November 2020 will be informed by e-mail with details.
